I've been thinking about Obama's recent Asian trip but first let me back track on something that adds to the puzzle I want to share.   President Obama goes to Copenhagen in what was advertised as campaigning for the 2016 Olympics to be held in Chicago.  After listening to his and Michelle's speeches I felt very troubled.  I felt like there was nothing heartily candid about why Chicago should host the 2016 Olympics.  After a bit more research I found this interesting tid...

In Obama's interview with the BBC, he stated that it's ok for Iran to have Nuclear energy. "Without going into specifics, what I do believe is that Iran has legitimate energy concerns, legitimate aspirations. On the other hand, the international community has a very real interest in preventing a nuclear arms race in the region," Obama said. Has Iran found a way to environmentally dump the waste from these energy plants? No. Is Iran working with the International community (like the UN...

I've often times considered moving to my wife's native country.  Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful country and I am very close to my wife's family.  One of the major hurdles that I see in my mind is trying to find work.  I'm sure in a worse case scenario I can find something to do there but may find it hard to find something that pays enough to make a living.  My thoughts are towards doing some kind of remote work or consulting.  I am inquiring if there are any JUs that have ...

In the External Link there is an article about Obama wanting to charge our veterans (via private health insurance) for care for being wounded on the field.  I suggest that the military buy Sombreros from Mexico and issue them to a wounded soldier when the go to the hospital.  Maybe then he/she can receive the health care they need that SHOULD be free to them for their sacrifice and service to our country. Sad day when our military is treated worse than illegal trespassers.

The link says it all. Funny how liberals were suggesting that they don't talk about this!  Bush busted out some serious skills in dodging not one but two flying Size 10 projectiles!

Several of you JUs know that my wife is from Kyrgyzstan.  Most of you probably don't know that her parents are Leaders of a small Messianic-Jewish congregation over there.  There is a bill that has just passed KG's legislative branches that effectively force small congregtions (less than 200) to either disperse or to go underground.  I just really hope that President Bakiyev does not sign this legislative bill into law.  Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

For those that don't know I was born and raised in Colorado.  I moved to the Durango, CO area back in 2000.  This is a little of my background.  Now for a little background in the area. Durango is very much a liberal and hippie town however La Plata County is made up of mostly conservatives.  In 2004 La Plata county voted for current president Bush and it is my understanding that our county is considered a swing county which could prove to determine where Colorado's elec...

Coloradoans will vote on a State Constitutional changing amendment this year.  In short this amendment defines in the State's Constitution when life or a person's right begins (at conception). Here is the official language from the state website : Shall there be an amendment to the Colorado constitution defining the term “person” to include any human being from the moment of fertilization as “person” is used in those provisions of the Colora...

This is the latest phrase that is coming out of the Democrat Party.  I think it is very problematic for their party and I have the suspicion it is going to come back and bite them. Let me point out the areas that I see as being problematic.     First let me start with the ‘Jesus was a Community Organizer’ part : This seems like an allegorical attempt to paint Obama’s experience with that of Jesus.   The problem with this is that Jesu...

I watched Sara Palin's speech on Thursday night.   This morning I listened to the first 15 minutes of McCain’s speech from last night.     On my way to work I noted a theme that I am starting to hear coming from this ticket.   A theme that is similar to the movie “Gladiator.”   McCain/Palin have taken on the theme given to Maximus by dying emperor Marcus Aurelius that the ruling governmental power would be given back to the people. &...

One might easily get the wrong impression based solely on thetitle. I am writing this to those who knew Richard although theymay not realize the impact that this one man had on my life.        My first memory of Uncle Richard was when I was about 10 yearsold shortly after his massive heart attack. We were up at mygrandfather’s farm in Northern Colorado during the wheat harvest. Onthis particular day ...
