Growing up in a christian church I never understood the different aspects of G*d (God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit). I am going to use the "Trinity" to explain this eventhough I believe that there is more to G*d than the "Trinity."
Picture the Sun. The Sun provides us heat, light, and energy. We can say The Sun that provides us heat we can similarly say G*d who is our father. We can continue to say the sun that provides us light and the G*d who provided our messiah. Light is an aspect of the sun as well as the heat. They all are apart of the Sun. If one wasn't apart of the Sun then the Sun wouldn't exist. So is the same with G*d. G*d is the sun and the father, son, and the holy spirit are the aspects of G*D.
